This course covers all the safety aspects regarding Scaffolding Components, Foundation Requirements, Regulations, Fall Protection Systems, Access Methods, Erection and Dismantling Techniques. Emphasis is placed on a hands-on experience.
Competent Person Scaffold Training
A comprehensive one-day training class taught by accredited instructors with over 30 years of real-world experience. This course is for supervisors, foremen, and employees who will be overseeing the set-up and dismantle of scaffolding and therefore need to be certified by the National Scaffold Industry Association. This course covers the five most serious scaffold hazards: Falls, Unsafe Access, Falling Objects, Electrocution and Collapses as well as practical product demonstrations which showcase the newest equipment and technology available, as well as OSHA regulations to ensure safety and fine avoidance.
Students who successfully pass the exam will receive a SAIA certificate and a wallet card which are valid for three years.
